Leaving the rental car areas at the airport (they are in various locations around the airport property depending on the rental company), take the main road southwest out of the airport area. This road is Keolani Place.

At the first traffic light, take a slight left onto Dairy Road, which is Route 380. This road will take you through Kahului; there is a Costco, a K-Mart, the Maui Mall, Wal-Mart and Home Depot (all on your left & very near the airport), and many smaller stores in the first mile or two. Continue on, you will travel along this road about 6 miles from that first traffic light, in generally southwest direction. After a mile or two, 380 opens up to sugar cane fields on the left, subdivisions on the right, and a golf course.

You will come to the intersection of your road (380), and Route 30. Turn left. Travel about 1 ½ miles (continuing straight through the next traffic light), at which point you will see on the left Kapoli Street, which is just before the large gas station/Carl’s Junior restaurant. Turn onto Kapoli Street. If you get to the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium (on the left), you have gone too far.

Take Kapoli Street about 1/10 of mile to Hauoli Street (first street on the left), and turn left. Go 2/10 of a mile to the Maalaea Banyans building, which is on the right at 190 Hauoli Street.

Check in at the reception desk in the lobby, pick up your keys, and enjoy your time on Maui!
